Today was the fifth time in the last four years that Whitemoor have made it to a Handball County Finals event (what an achievement!).

 

Like with the 2018 version of this tournament, it was hosted at Harvey Hadden Sports Village and saw schools from across Nottinghamshire playing handball against each other for a whole day.

 

With Whitemoor having medalled at all their previous Handball County Finals, hopes were high of yet more success. However, to keep this record going, it was going to take some effort!

 

Thankfully, this is what Team Whitemoor did, and in bucketloads. Their incredible teamwork and dedication resulted in many wins in the group stage, which allowed them to qualify for the winners bracket.

 

Here they played equally as well and made it as far as the 3^rd/4^th play-off round… After yet more effort and endeavour, they scored enough points to take home the bronze medal! Truly amazing stuff Team Whitemoor!
