Pupil Leadership
School Council
Mrs Whelband helps with the organisation of our school council.
In early September, we held elections for a Head Boy and Head Girl/Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl. These Year 6 children were voted in by the whole school, following two rounds of campaign speeches. As well as this, we ran an application process for 'Class Reps' from Years 1 to 5. Together, the two groups form the Whitemoor School Council.

Each week, the Whitemoor School Council meet to discuss current events and issues, and suggest ways to make school an even better place to be.
Sports Ambassadors
Mr Martin helps with the organisation of our Sports Ambassadors.
These young leaders, who are all from Year 5, were appointed to their role based on the quality of the application letter they wrote. In November, the group attended a training event ran by School Sport Nottingham, during which time they set a series of challenges to complete over the remainder of the academic year.

Language Ambassadors
Mrs Rippon helps with the organisation of our Language Ambassadors.
These multilingual leaders, who are all from Year 6, were appointed to their role based on the effort and application in Spanish lessons.
