Late last night, Whitemoor Academy won a highly prestigious award from Nottingham City Council. 

 

The annual 'Most Physically Active School' gong was won ahead of Bluecoat Secondary school and Oakfield Special school. A huge thank you to everyone at school who has made gaining such recognition possible –  including teachers, governors, parents and, most importantly, pupils. 

 

We also have been short listed for the same award from Nottinghamshire County Council. It's a massive achievement (especially for a primary school) and is testament to how far PE and school sports has come at Whitemoor in a very short space of time.
