On Wednesday evening, a number of our Y5/6 Gymnasts took part in the Upper Key Stage Two competition, which was organised by School Sport Nottingham and students from Ellis Guilford.

 

Our team had been training extremely hard, in order to remember what were some tricky routines. After overcoming early nerves, each and every one of our Gymnastics team showed great skill and performed with real confidence.

 

Whitemoor's boys and girls really enjoyed their evening at Ellis, including getting to watch Gymnasts from the other seven schools in action. Unfortunately, our team were not one of those who scored enough points to finish in a medal position.

 

It's worth noting, however, that Beth managed to score a PERFECT 10 on the vault - a very rare thing indeed!
