Tournament Result - Y4 Mega Festival
Thu 28 Mar 2019This afternoon, some lucky Y4s travelled over to Harvey Hadden for the fourth and final Mega Festival of 2018-19.
Once again, Whitemoor brought two teams of children with them, ensuring that lots and lots of Y4 boys and girls got to participate in an inter-school sports event. For many this was the first time they had done so since joining KS2.
Lots of exciting sports were played over the course of the afternoon, with all of Team Whitemoor having a fun filled (and rather sweaty) time. What's more, they represented the school brilliantly, due to their great sportsmanship and focused attitude.
Our Y4 Mega Fest teams consisted of: Chantae B, Ellie-May C, Meerab A, Shenelle R, Sophie A, Hubert P, Jacob S, Jaxon C, Tiargo P, Muizz J and Shaquille H.

Tournament Result - Y2 Infant Agility Festival
Tue 26 Mar 2019At the first of this year's Infant Agility Festivals, which took place earlier today, Whitemoor were lucky enough to be able to bring a class full of Y2 children with them.
The event provided opportunity for our young sports stars to represent our school in a competitive environment - for the very first time! It was clear to see on the coach journey over to Clifton just how excited the children were about this fact!
This year's 'Jungletastic' festival saw the children split into three groups: tigers, elephants and rhinos - with each child wearing a mask to represent their animal and therefore who they were competing for.
Over the course of the afternoon, the children got to participate in lots of different games and activities, such as relay races and stuck in the mud, which were all ran by Sports Coaching Degree Students from NTU.
A huge well done must go to the Y2 children for representing Whitemoor so brilliantly throughout their time at the Lee Westwood Sports Centre.
Today's Y2 Infant Agility team was made up of: Adriana A, Muhammad A, Drake B, Scarlett C, Ruby-Jade C, Lilly-Rose C, Archie C, Marcus C, Alex C, Elicia D, Riley H, Sami J, Gracie K, Farheen K, Harrison L, Jazel M, Jake M, Liza N, Lotti O, Amelia P, Jadeanna P, Kiezer P, Holly R, Amira S, Ismael S, Tray-Cal T, Chanelle Y and Ziad Y.

Tournament Result - Y5 Mega Festival
Thu 14 Mar 2019Earlier this afternoon, the third of four 'Mega Fests' took place, held in the impressive setting of Harvey Hadden Sports Village.
The aim of these festivals is to: 1) engage more children in physical activity and 2) provide opportunity for all children to take part in competitive sports. Like with the Y3 'Mega Fest' and the Y6 'Mega Fest' - Whitemoor exceeded these aims, bringing not one but two teams to the event.
The pupils lucky enough to be picked for today's festival had a great time and loved playing sports as part of a team, showing off their skills in a competitive yet enjoyable environment. A big well done to all the boys and girls involved!
Our Y5 Mega Fest teams were made up of: Katie A, Sunil S, Zoya A, Hamnah S, Pavel K, Zaynab S, Andrei S, Nico G, Sidrah R and Riley D.
