For the third year running, Whitemoor took part in the 'Girls Only' 7-a-side Netball tournament, held in the impressive setting of the High School grounds. 

 

Expectations were high following another period of success for Whitemoor in both 'High 5' events. However, this tournament is always trickier as it pits us against single sex, private schools; along with the fact it requires our players to learn a completely new set of tactics and rules. 

 

As has been the case in the previous two versions of this tournament, the Whitemoor players battled extremely hard and achieved some great wins. However, the Girls' High School dominated again, winning both the gold and silver medals – with Southwark finishing in bronze medal position. 

 

Our girls should be proud of their fourth place finish however; Mrs Hall and Miss Proud certainly were! 

 

The Y5/6 Girls Netball squad consisted of: Aqsa A, Kamara J, Shania B, Megan M, Ciara H, Natasha C, Nevaya P and Sahnairi P.
