Early this evening, Whitemoor competed in the first of their two Basketball Central Venue League heats - doing so against 3 local(ish) schools. 

 

Following a sluggish start in our first game, our Y5/6 Basketballers ended up falling to a disappointing defeat at the hands of Southwark (10-12).

 

Thankfully, our players didn't not let this disappointment linger long as they won their next game 6-4 (against Ambleside primary). 

 

By the time our third game came around, Team Whitemoor were displaying the skill and effort we have come to expect in these sorts of tournaments - recording a convincing 10-4 victory against Glade Hill. 

 

Well done to our players for winning two of their three matches. Next week's heat will hopefully bring even more success!
