Yesterday we traveled a short distance up to Ellis Guilford, to compete in one of the showpiece events of the sporting calendar – the Y5/6 Sportshall Athletics tournament. 

 

Over the course of the morning, our children took part in a range of different athletic fields, such as: speed bounce, sprint relay, standing long jump, standing triple jump, vertical jump, obstacle relay and chest push. 

 

A big well done to team Whitemoor, who showed fantastic skill against some very tough opponents. As a result of their efforts in the heats, they came an impressive 2nd, which means progression to the semi-finals on Monday 27th November. Congratulations guys!
