Competition Result - Y5/6 Climbing

For the fourth year in a row, Whitemoor travelled over to Nottingham Climbing Centre, ready to take part in the Hollygirt Private School Climbing competition.

This year we brought four teams worth of climbers to the event - which amassed 16 children in all.  As in previous years, the other teams/schools were a mix private and state schools (from across Nottingham City).

Over the course of the afternoon/evening, competitors were awarded points based on how high they climbed three walls of varying difficulty, added to points from how far they traversed along a low wall.

Whilst none of Whitemoor’s teams managed to finish in a medal position, we were still incredibly proud of their efforts. The children climbed with great effort and did not give up at any point, however high they were off the ground!

Our four teams who took part in the Y5/6 Climbing Competition consisted of: Magda G, Farrah M, Italee P, Christine S, Zakiah R, Zak P, Alyssia N, Ruben K, Shay A, Sienna H, Zenai C, Sadaf H, Rehan I, Manni S, Sunil S and Zaynab S.
