After failing to take part in last year's Basketball Tournament, due to a clash of dates, Whitemoor travelled over to Lee Westwood Sports Centre determined to make it through today's heat. 

 

As was the case at the Central Venue League Basketball events back in May, our girls took to the court first, followed by the boys in the second period. The scores from each half were then added together to determine which school had won the game. 

 

Both the girls and boys teams played some impressive basketball over the course of the afternoon - recording a series of wins along the way.

 

Unfortunately, they didn't record enough wins to finish within the top three schools - missing out on a place in the finals by a single point! 

 

Our Y5/6 Basketball team consisted of: Samya F, Tyrai E, Kiyan A, Ruben K, Zenai C, Sam W, Ticianny M, Lewis C, Katie A, Harley J, Sienna H, Alyssia N and Minky D.
