Yesterday afternoon, a group Y5/6 children travelled over to Lee Westwood Sports Centre (in Clifton), ready to take part in one of two School Sport Nottingham Basketball heats.

 

The competition faced this year was fierce, but our team managed to make it through the whole tournament without losing a single game! In our final match we defeated our closest rivals in South Wilford, so finished top of our qualifying group. 

 

Whitemoor are now through to the grand finals on Thursday 14th December. Well done to all who took part; you played with determination and passion right from the word go!

 

Our Y5/6 Basketball team was made up of: Jessica S, Amelia B, Kamara J, Sahnairi P, Elhadi M, Mason T, Aiden L, Brian D, Jayden R and Jahkyi C.
