Tournament Result – Wednesday 6th July – Y3/4 Urban Hockey

Yesterday afternoon we traveled to Nottingham Trent University to take part in the first ever primary schools Urban Hockey Tournament.

The Whitemoor team played fantastically well and ended up making it all the way to the finals (with only one loss along the way).

In the final we faced the Nottingham Academy. They were formidable opponents, who tested us to our very limits. With 40 seconds to go of the final we were 3 goals down but, through sheer determination and passion, we managed to score 4 goals in quick succession and win the game…

A huge well done to the Y3/4 children involved – both for representing Whitemoor so well and for helping us achieve yet more gold medals! What's even more impressive is the fact that many of these pupils had never took part in an inter school event before.

The Y3/4 Urban Hockey team were made up of: Nayara R, Twuan M, Jayden R, Mason T, Aiden L, Katie K, Sophie H and Biraj A.
