On Thursday morning, eight girls from Y6 visited Harvey Hadden, to take part in the last 'This Girl Can' festival of the year.

 

The Whitemoor team were a perfect example of the campaign's target audience: girls who wanted to get active and take part in sport - not caring how they look! They had great fun competing in four different sports, as well as getting to play against a variety of girls from other primary schools.

 

The highlights of the morning were Kurling and American Football! Playing the latter sport was a first for our girls, who were nervous at the beginning of the session but showed magnificent throwing and catching skills by the end of it.

 

Well done to all our Y6 girls for showing great teamwork, and representing Whitemoor so well.
