Tournament Result – Thursday 15th March – Y2 Infant Agility Festival

Earlier today, we took our first set of Y2 children to the Infant Agility Festival, hosted at Lee Westwood Sports Centre in Clifton.

This festival was delivered Sports Coaching Degree Students from NTU, with the aim of the event centered around providing pupils with an introduction to multi-skills activities.

The format of the Infant Agility Festival included pupils taking part in relay and obstacle races, similar to the Sportshall Athletics format; along with field events such as speed bounce, throwing, long jump and balance testing.

Whitemoor's team of thirty pupils split into smaller groups throughout the course of the afternoon and rotated around the activities in a circuit style; with the emphasis being, first and foremost, on enjoyment for akk.

It was fair to say that every single one of the Y2 children involved had a great afternoon, in what was their initial experience of inter-school sport.

Today's Y2 Infant Agility team was made up of: Bilal A, Hakem A, Aiza A, Sophie B, Asari B, Elijah B, Amelia B, Alyssia D, Werner E, Teejai G, Fatima H, Ola H, Eyul K, Isabella L, Zayne M, Kevin M, Amin N, Megan P, Kaiden P, Michal R, Ky'ran S, Aman S, Reda S, Naquarn S, Jacub S, Nerome T, Mia T, Ella-Rae W and Khushi W.
