Earlier today, Whitemoor attended the first of four 'Mega Festivals' which will be held over the year, this one being targeted at boys and girls in Year 6. 

 

The aim of these events are to: a) engage children in physical activity and b) provide opportunity for all children to take part in competitive sports. Our children certainly achieved both these targets, competing in a range of sports for well over two and a half hours. 

 

We hope today's event inspired the seven children involved to continue to engage with PE and sport – both this year and when they go on to secondary school. The smiles on their faces at the end of the day told us they will do! 

 

Our Y6 Mega Festival team consisted of: Charlie D, Kyreece S, Shamai P, Kolima F, Mara A, Areeba Z and Troy F.
