This afternoon, a number of children in Y5 and Y6 got to take part in the the heats of School Sport Nottingham's 'Sportshall Athletics Championships.'

 

As has been the case since 2021, all the schools involved would qualify for either the A final, or the B final, or the C final. 

 

After a series of gruelling sprinting, jumping and throwing events; Whitemoor discovered that they'd finished with enough points to finish in third place. This was a particularly impressive result given that a number of our team were missing due to illness. 

 

Well done to all our athletes for their fantastic effort and brilliant attitude today - you did yourselves proud!

 

Our Y5/6 Sportshall Athletics team was made up of: Thea C, Ezmai C, Minae L, Sienna B, Mya C, Elva C, Willow W, Evie C, Sufyan H, Tyler N, Raynon R, Max M and Adriel.
