At Whitemoor, we believe leadership develops confidence, responsibility and resilience. Through a wide range of leadership roles, pupils contribute to decision-making and support their peers, helping them to become active and reflective citizens. Leadership is embedded across the curriculum and our wider personal development offer.
As a result of the wealth of diverse leadership opportunities, with more groups in place than ever before, pupils develop a strong sense of pride and belonging as they contribute to school life.
Mrs Whelband helps with the organisation of School Council.

As well as this, we run an application process for 'Class Reps' from Years 3 to 5. Together, the two groups form the Whitemoor School Council.
School Council lead consultations across the school, gather pupil views, discuss whole-school priorities and propose improvements. They feed back decisions to classes and help organise events.
