Tournament Result – Tuesday 4th July – Y5/6 Rounders

Yesterday afternoon, a selection of our Year 5 and 6 children took to the fields of Trinity Secondary School to compete in the School Sport Nottingham Rounders Tournament.

This year there were more schools present than ever before – eleven in total! Due to this fact, the schools were split into two groups, therefore increasing the amount of medals on offer.

In our first game we lost by just half a rounder to the Holygirt private school. Thankfully, from then on in, Whitemoor clicked into gear and recorded high scoring victories against St Teresa's, Rosslyn, Sycamore and Burford.

With four wins out of five, the Whitemoor team managed to finish in second place; the third year in a row we have medalled at this tournament. A huge well done to all the boys and girls involved.

Our Y5/6 Rounders team consisted of: Mason N, Harvinder D, Aiden L, Ramadan R, Mason T, Megan M, Nevaya P, J'Adore P and Kamara J.
