Tournament Result – Thursday 7th December – Y3/4 Handball

Over the past few years, Handball has grown and grown in popularity as a primary school sport. This was evidenced by the sheer volume of teams that entered today's Y3/4 tournament, with a record 21 teams (and over 250 children) taking part.

In the first part of the afternoon at Harvey Hadden, Whitemoor brushed aside any challengers found in their group, and so comprehensively qualified for the knock-out round.

As the afternoon progressed, our team made it all the way to the finals where they faced a well drilled Southwark team. Despite being the better team for most of the match, we lost by a single goal.

However, our handball players should be immensely proud as they played fantastically well and still came away with a silver medal!

The Y3/4 Handball team was made up of: Glennisha B, Shay A, Kuleni S, Katie A, Zenai C, Harley J, Tyrai W, Abdullah T, Keenan D, Sam W and Rio N.
